Workshops

Educational Robotics does not want to teach children to be all small engineers but, through the use of robots, to stimulate curiosity and the desire to deepen

Classroom teaching laboratories are activities that integrate the curricular path of the various subjects with experiences in which students can exploit the knowledge acquired and bring it back to a practical, interactive and collaborative context; the activities can also be used to develop curiosity and interest in topics to deal with frontal lessons at the end of the experience.

We also design and carry out robotics workshops for museum structures, cultural events, solar fields, toy libraries ... Activities and themes will be agreed directly with the proposers.

Single lessons or activity packages that include multiple meetings can be organized, both during and outside school hours. During the workshops the students, under the supervision of the teacher and guided by the experts of GREAT Robotics, will be able to observe, build and design their own robot.

Each laboratory includes the supply of robotic kits that will be chosen, in agreement with the teacher or the managers of the structures, based on the age of the students and the type of laboratory chosen.

Presentations and seminars on Robotics in all its implications from technology to art, from philosophy to jurisprudence are also available for older children.

Activities and workshops

Preparatory to coding and robotics

Activities aimed at children in pre- school , designed to introduce computational thinking through psychomotor games that allow them to exercise motor skills, spatial orientation, lateralization and manipulation before using the real robot.

Educational robotics

Educational robotics workshops for all ages.

Activities include practical workshops, with introduction to the robotic kit and individual or group design and programming. According to the ages, theoretical presentations may also be envisaged which may concern the history of robotics and artificial intelligence, the state of the art of robotic technologies, the implications on our society of the technologies we use.

Coding with Scratch

Introduction to Scratch for programming animations, storytelling, games and simulations.

Tinkering

"Thinking with your hands", an educational method to bring children and teenagers closer to the study of STEM subjects through the construction of simple electrical circuits, self-propelled constructions, mechanically or electrically, and all that the imagination can invent.

Robotics seminars

Theoretical, interactive seminars on robotics and artificial intelligence, Industry 4.0 and all their effects on our society.

Theater workshops

Theater workshops with robots for all ages.
